　　黑人上帝一直都是一个宗教界争论的话题。我们可以看到很多电影作品中，黑人家庭都会悬挂黑人上帝画像，并且有时还会听到他们的解释，将耶稣的出生地与族裔进行了分析。由于这方面的学术理论本人较为肤浅，现转载一篇论述黑人神学的文章，供大家对这部电影的宗教背景多些认识。
　　
　　片名中的Color一词，直指上帝有色人种论。影片记录了耶稣死前的48小时，大部分演员都是黑人出演的，最主要的就是耶稣的角色将由演员、导演水平俱佳的Jean Claude LaMarre饰演。圣母的角色则启用了出演过多部优秀黑人电影的Debbi Morgan。
　　
　　电影中罗马士兵仍有白人扮演，但这句对不是一部挑拨种族矛盾的电影，他与《The Passion of the Christ》一样在思想上终于圣经原著，这不过这次他们要讲的是黑人神学中的圣经。在目前《The Passion of the Christ》、《Da Vinci Code》讨论神学电影纷纷均获得成功佳绩的潮流下，《Color of the Cross》也将获得不俗的成绩。
